Yeh, good to have it confirmed. I guess it finally denies the fact that people said they could sell etc borrowed items.

if you go to the rs forums.. they have a detailed explanation of how they dont really trade the item to them.. instead they make a new clone item and put urs in a hidden inventory

What do you mean by 'hidden' inventory? is it just a file of items that Jagex owns for the time of the lend?

Exactly what it sounds like. ;D
A hidden inventory. Basically, one you can't access or see at all. When lending an item, the item doesn't actually leave your account.
