i believe this happens when someone kills you, but does not recieve the kill for you, and in that time period either you or the person who actually got the kill, can claim the items.

if u pvp alot....u will notice that the drop is never the stuff the guy had. like they drop cake,,junk etc....,,, in the picture u see... everything i had..
