Bluetooth

Hi guys!

What do you all know about bluetooth - specifically, hacking with bluetooth. I know that devices that use bluetooth can be hacked, but can you use bluetooth to hack other things? I'm really out of familiar territory with this; I know nothing about it really. I'm using the internet to try and get a decent idea of it (yay for wikipedia) but it's not answering the questions I really want to know.

For example, you're using bluetooth on your cell phone and happen to wander into an area where you can connect to a wireless network. Is there a way to use a program, through bluetooth, to brute force the password to this network? A way to intercept signals sent through this network? Anything special you can do with bluetooth to gain access into this network?

How far can you push bluetooth? What kind of things can you do with it?

No I don't have anything devious in mind...

A couple of guys around my area got arrested a little over a year ago for somehow using bluetooth stuff to intercept debit card information from ATMs.

... So yeah, I guess it must have "interesting" uses. Wish I could tell you some more, but I really don't know too much about bluetooth.

I know alot about hacking bluetoothes.

There is not a program that you can actually gain access to someone phone without them accepting something saying ''Siyico is asking to gain access to your phone'' ''Siyico is trying to use your phone as a modem''. If you get hold of someones phone however and you make them pair with your phone and make their phone accept all incoming things without consent, you can pretty much do whatever you want to them in class and shit ;p
