Football is just 1337ZORZ. I love it - go Bears! It's not my favorite thing to play though - people get too competative and take the tackling thing too far. Flag football in gym class just isn't flag football either - it's like, tackle football which I don't appreciate. I'm relatively small and I can't defend myself when some monster of a girl jumps on me. It sucks. But watching it on TV rocks my blue socks off.
Soccer is also fun to watch, but it's not on TV that often, and if I go to the high school games I have to stand because there arn't any bleachers. I wish it'd get more popular in the United States. I absolutely hate playing soccer in gym though. I've gotten knocked out by a soccer ball before, and well, now they terrify me. But if the pro's want to play, I want to watch!
Another one of my favorite, well, gym class sports is Castle Ball. It's like dodgeball, but the goal is to knock down a big tower on the other teams side of the gym. If you hit people with a ball they have to go to the jail and can only get out if they catch a ball thrown by one of their team members. It's awsomely fun.
Baseball is just not a sport I like. There's way too much standing around between pitches, and not enough action. Besides, the Cubs curse basically makes every single game they play predictable, and it sucks. I just like seeing who won on the news in the morning.
Is anyone else bummed that they made tailgating illegal in Chicago?
