Where did your username originate from?
 

Alright, so it's pretty simple. Just tell us a story of where you got your username from, or any other usernames you might have, or even all of them ;]

My username Blupig was actually my sister's idea for a Runescape name for my friend back in I think 2002. He used it for a while, but then we ended up sharing the same "Blupig" Runescape account since he liked to play Runescape 2 and paid for a membership, and I liked to play RSC which had just become members only. I joined a couple RSC fansites afterwards, using the username Blupig so people knew who I was in-game as well. After that, it just kind of stick.

Though, recently, I've started to adopt other usernames since I kind of stole Blupig.
-Phenomenon (Something a little complex, cool, and nobody else uses it most of the time)
-KaXinSHan (Came to me in a dream, long story)
-xBlUx (Takes "blu" of Blupig and changes the cases around and adds 2 Xs on each end?)

Mine came from my name

But since thats no fun ill give you my history of all my names:

I started runescape as a normal player, I didn't dare do anything to get myself in trouble, and I always dreamed of becoming a player moderator. I was a goodygoody, and I always strived my hardest to become the best.

I had always heard of the tainted-ones, but I mostly feared them from the stories I had heard, little did I know id come to be one of them and take place as a high ranking officer over my time on the game now known as "Ruined Scape". I took my career away from any possible bugs and started woodcutting.

Then one day I saw a kid running around as an imp, I had no experience at bug abusing at this point, so I noobishly followed, I asked if he could teach me, and he replied plain and simply "no". I got frustrated and bumbarded him with questions. He finally told me to go to "w\/\/w.Tainted-ones.c()/\/\". So I went, and was horified by how the staff treated the noobs, and I knew that I'd need to find a bug, to fit in, so i spent the next month finding the best Player Owned House (POH) bugs I could.

Finally after a month of lurking I went and went to the forum and signed up with the name:
Purepkerz -It was to display my role in the runescape world at the time, as a "PurePker". Althought shortly after I was going to get my reputation as the Player Owned House Master (next to Da Master of course:))


I soon grew weary of that name, as I had moved away from PurePking, and moved onto skilling/leveling

Then as all good things must die (:(), t.o. was regretfully shut down, i still had my msn, and my legacy as purepkerz the master player owned house bug abuser still lived on.

About a month and a half later, envy and me were highly interested in rsunlocked. I personally have always like the term "Unlocked" And honestly wanted a new start from an old legacy.

So I made my way up the ladder with envy, and I soon became friends with people in high places. I didn't let this get to my head, because I had seen what happend to people who let shit get to their heads, I stood by AofC at the time of the great war of the admins. And since then my career honestly took off, the unnoficial rsu bugging crew went and searched for a new transfer method, and I was promoted to middle man. I then persued my career as a middle man for about a month, until I was put up for nomination for distinguished member, at the time I truly did not want to receive it, because there were so many others, but in the end, I did end up getting it, and became the 3rd and last blue mm at rsu. I felt that I wanted yet another clean start, and I requested to get a name change to "Jared" as that is my real name, and I figured that since AofC was going to be forced out of power (I knew a half of a month ahead of time) That I wouldnt want to be living in the past.

As many of you know, the era of rsu, wasnt a VERY long one, as time goes, problems arise, and the admins were forced to leave, and AofC was forced out of power leaving Impulse to ruin the site.

Then I was sort of a drifter, going to various forums lurking in the shadows afraid to say what was on my mind, and how I felt that yet again my "Home" was taken away from me.

I had a slow period in my life at that point, my grades rose, I hung out with my friends more often than I usually would, but as sad as this following sentence sounds, its true: I literally felt as if something was missing, a part of my life I had left behind somehow, and everytime I'd walk past my black computer screen, id feel slightly saddened that, that part of me was gone.. Then, I did my weekly two week check on my friends with msn, not seeing the point, when I see envy on, (at this point we had almost lost contact with each other), and we had a long talk, and as we finished up, I was in a seriously good mood. I was looking around and saw Cunt Punt (CP for short) on, and in his "message" was a url, It turned out to be a forum. At first I was almost about to leave the computer and never going to turn it on again, but I noticed some flaming in the chat box, IT WAS MACK AND CUNT PUNT! I joined up, and ever since, my legacy has continued to grow, I became friends with the admin, quickly became prospect, and got alot of my old friends to join up (such as envy, jeast, and several several others)

OK unlike Jared I'm not going to tell my whole bugging history XD. So here's how grimmy came out. I was introduced to RS by a distant cousin. He said think of a cool name. We thought of grimreaper101. Unfortunetly that was too long. Other combinations of that sort were already taken. so i came up with grimrEper101. no A. other accounts have just been based around that. i got grimreper235, grimmy235, getagrip235. The 235 was just a random number that i came up with. and for forums i go with a simple "grimmy."

I am cold all the time. and I am a lord. /Win.

My name originated from my xbox live name Fatalityyy. When i first got my xbox 360 a few Christmas's ago i was looking for a cool name to have as a gamertag. I asked a few friends and one of them recomended Phatality(yes with a "PH" instead of "F"). After a few weeks i thought that name got old so i changed it to just Fatality, and thats how i got my name.

Looking for a short, decent, one word name on sythe.org... ;)

My first screen name was Ilikemath2002, this is because this was my first email that my mom made me.

I started playing RuneScape in around 2004? or 05. My first username was Reht H. (notice the period), because my first name is Reht and my last starts with an h. That account got banned when I tried making it a member with stolen credit cards XD. Before then, I made the account Coyote Track. I named it that because I was looking around and found the imprint of a coyote track that I made at school. This was my primary RS account until about September of '07 when I got banned for phishing.

Lol5916 is completely random. I was making random account names on Sythe, because I didn't want to use my user names and couldn't remember any except this one.

I started on TO when I saw a guy named "Adolf" who posted the history of their bugs. I got falsely banned from TO when I supposedly "leaked" the 12th revision.(If you don't believe I didn't leak it ask Jared or Envy). About 6 months later I joined RsU(about a month before Jared and Envy).

Nowhere near my whole experience, but it's all I can type before I have to go.

My name is Dr. Pepper because I got tried of the username Taz after a while.

I'm a really big fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and I was having a shitload of problems finding an open name on AIM to register. I originally wanted Eaglz36 for Brian Westbrook but after trying all my favorite players I finally got Eaglz84 to work (Hank Baskett's jersey number).

Those people who really know me though know I always used to go by a different forum (and RS) name.

well my name is alex and runescpenoob1234 was a name i used on rsu after l33th4cker frmed me for scamming at another site and banned me at rsu for scamming at rstrades or what ever it was :)

ur well my user name is phtester,its not my rsn, but it randomly came out from my clans forums where i had to test certain user groups on the forums, so i came out with ph tester and change its usergroup around a bit to see whether these groups saw the right things.

I am not really sure how I got my username, but it basically makes sense and sounds cool. And of course, no one would take this so it would always be available.

my 1st one came cause it was catchy, "ferious arch". then i made my current main which i got when it was lvl 3 non mems 22 qp. i made a magickses pure whos name was mario br0s 4 which i sorta copied from this guy named mari0 bros4 which i met at kbd and coincidentally saw him die in 2 bh vids.

I'm completely superficial and obsessed with appearance, so i have spent the last few years cycling through usernames trying to find the perfect one

Only did i find the perfect username well after deciding that numbers ARE NOT cool to have in a username XD

Anyway, one day i was reading the sequel to inkheart, inkspell, and the pussy guy in the cave mentioned something about "megalomania" as a personality trait, so i looked it up and the result was quite impressive

It has two definitions here:
1. A psychopathological condition characterized by delusional fantasies of wealth, power, or omnipotence.
2. An obsession with grandiose or extravagant things or actions.

To me, it just sounded cool, but then i thought to myself "mega is weak, what's better than mega?"

Thus Ultralomania was born, and a person who *has* ultralomania would be an ultralomaniac
(i consider ultralomania to be megalomania w/o the delusions :P)

before settling on Ultralomaniac, i first considered "Gigalomaniac", but that sounds WAYYY too much like "gigolo-maniac"
